Cannons Key Stage Two Basketball League Final
by Chris Tight
Director & Head Coach

SCORPIONS WIN KS2 LEAGUE

Another brilliant KS2 league meeting, with all teams showing great development from just a few months training making this such an exciting league.

Mayflower Mavericks were unable to attend due to a last minute school commitment so a guest Cannons Team made its debut in their place, playing Holland Park in their first game, which saw the  Panthers record their first win 28-10.

The second game saw St. Osyth play the Cannons Team with both teams carrying on the high scoring, exciting tempo that saw St. Osyth eventually win 26-20.

The final game saw St. Osyth scorpions  against the Holland Park Panthers conceding in a hard fought 24-12 win for St. Osyth Scorpions, crowning the Scorpions the first ever KS2 basketball league winners.

With the team spirit ,skill  and conducting themselves in the right manner all the children did themselves and there schools proud .

Cannons 2006 would like to say a big thank you to all the children, parents, local sponsors, schools and of course the children for making the first season of the KS2 Basketball League a success.

We can not wait for the new season to be sponsored by TTSS (Tendring Telecoms & Security Systems) to start in September. To enter please ask you Head Teacher or PE Coordinator to contact us via www.Cannons2006.com
